Andrews: Pandemic bill has rules Victoria ‘needs’

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews says the pandemic bill – which is set to pass - consists of the rules that are needed going forward.

The controversial Victorian pandemic bill is expected to pass in parliament after the Andrews government found one vote to end the deadlock.

Transport Matters MP Rod Barton will vote in favour of the legislation after the government agreed to six amendments to the bill, according to the Herald Sun.

“The last couple days have shown us that this is not over,” Mr Andrews said.

“As much as we all want it to be.”
