Federal election ‘looks like’ being held in May 2022

Labor MP Stephen Jones says it now looks like the federal election will be held in May.

“All of the announcements that Scott Morrison has made over the last couple of weeks won’t come to pass,” Mr Jones told Sky News Australia.

“Once again we have big announcements being made but no follow through.

“They simply aren’t scheduling the parliamentary days to get work done.”
