Sixth ‘likely’ case of Omicron variant detected in NSW

NSW Health has indicated a sixth case of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 has been detected.

Health Minister Brad Hazzard announced on Wednesday a man in his 40s from Cabramatta who arrived from southern Africa “likely” has the new strain of the virus.

He tested positive for COVID on Tuesday…
