First confirmed case of Omicron in the ACT

ACT Health has confirmed an individual in the ACT has tested positive to the COVID-19 Omicron variant.

The person is fully vaccinated and returned a positive test result on 1 December and following genome sequencing, this has today been confirmed as the Omicron variant.
