Crash victim remembered as ‘golden child’

A senior police officer killed in a road crash in Adelaide was a “golden child” who was loved by everyone, a court has been told.

In a victim impact statement to the District Court on Monday, the sister of Detective Chief Superintendent Joanne Shanahan said her life was now a struggle every day.
