Labor is leading as the favourite among voters to win the next federal election according to recent polling figures.

The latest Newspoll figures, reported in The Australian, reveals 47 percent of voters believe Labor will form the next government - while 37 percent expect the Morrison government to return for a fourth term.

Labor is also leading the two-party preferred vote over the Coalition.
