Nationals Senator Matt Canavan says a net zero policy in Australia “won’t change the temperature of the globe”.

“Because China’s not going to be doing anything in the next ten years, India’s not doing anything in the next ten years,” Mr Canavan said.

“It won’t change the temperature, all it will do is make those that go to these international conferences feel and walk a little bit taller.

“I don’t think that’s enough of a benefit to make average Australians pay the bill to make these globalists feel a little bit better inside their heart.”
