NSW Education Minister Sarah Mitchell making teachers’ strike ‘even worse’

New South Wales Opposition Leader Chris Minns says Education Minister Sarah Mitchell should attempt to resolve the dispute with the teachers and “not inflame it”. His comments come after Ms Mitchell expressed disapproval over the strike and accused teachers of having political motivations. “At the end of the day, we don’t want industrial action, we want kids back in classrooms, teachers back in classrooms,” Mr Minns said. “This to me is making a bad situation even worse and I wish the education minister would focus on talking with teacher representatives, not making the situation even worse.”
