WA to strengthen border with Queensland

Western Australia will strengthen its border with Queensland from Monday, December 13.

Western Australia will elevate Queensland's risk classification from 'very low' to 'low' – as the Sunshine State prepares to reopen to New South Wales, Victoria and the ACT.

Travellers from Queensland will only be permitted to enter WA if they are fully vaccinated and undertake 14 days of self-quarantine.

Queenslanders will also be tested for COVID and must obtain a G2G border pass to visit the state.
