From Newstead to the Torres Strait with ‘two suitcases of drugs’

A Brisbane man has been charged with drug offences after being arrested on Saibai Island in the Torres Strait.

Australian Border Force officers allegedly found the 55-year-old Newstead man with two suitcases filled with various drugs about 4pm on Tuesday on Main Street on Tuesday, December 7.
