COVID: NT records 8 new cases, 4 in Tennant Creek which has gone into lockdown

Four cases are from Tennant Creek, thrusting the community into lockdown until Monday December 20 at 5pm.

Of greatest concern is an unvaccinated woman in her 40’s who tested positive at the local hospital yesterday.

She is believed to have been infectious in the community since Sunday.
