Dominic Perrottet backs Fiona Kotvojs for Bega by-election

New South Wales Premier Dominic Perrottet has revealed his candidate to replace Andrew Constance ahead of the state by-election in the seat of Bega.

The Liberal Party has preselected former failed federal candidate Dr Fiona Kotvojs for the seat on the state's south coast.

Dr Kotvojs has contested the federal seat of Eden-Monaro twice, losing the 2019 election to Labor's Mike Kelly and the 2020 by-election to Kristy McBain.

Mr Perrottet said Dr Kotvojs will be a great replacement for Mr Constance - who quit state parliament to contest the federal seat of Gilmore.
