NSW Labor throws bipartisan support behind state’s COVID-19 situation

New South Wales Labor leader Chris Minns has pledged bipartisan support around policy changes in response to the evolving coronavirus situation.

The state on Sunday recorded 2,566 new COVID-19 cases - the highest since the start of the pandemic.

“Given it’s a fast changing situation and policy changes need to be made, we want to throw bipartisan support behind that,” Mr Minns said.

“Our message is listen to Kerry Chant, those senior bureaucrats that guided this state through the toughest period in its entire history over the last two years.”
