Passengers stunned by airline collapse

In a corner of the terminal sat 67-year-old Mrs Betty Billson from Nowra. She was quietly crying.

“We were going to Cairns to see my son for Christmas,” she said, adding that she had just spent four hours driving from Nowra with her husband Alfred to get to the airport.
