Queensland mum’s jellyfish warning after 12-year-old hospitalised with Irukandji sting

A Queensland mother has issued an urgent warning to other parents after her daughter spent two nights in hospital following a jellyfish sting.

Kristine Vella-Jones’ 12-year-old daughter was swimming at Horseshoe Bay on Magnetic Island this past Tuesday when she felt a pain in her leg.
