Linda Aitken chosen as Christian Porter’s replacement

Western Australian Councillor Linda Aitken has been chosen by state Liberal Party members as the preferred candidate for the seat of Pearce.

The City of Wanneroo Councillor will replace outgoing former Attorney-General Christian Porter as the Liberal's preselected candidate.

The Coalition has held the seat since its inception in 1990 with a current margin of 5.2 per cent.

Wanneroo Mayor Tracey Roberts is Labor's candidate.
