NSW COVID update: Two more deaths confirmed as cases surge to more than 3000

New South Wales has recorded a significant increase in new coronavirus cases.

Another 3057 cases were confirmed by NSW Health on Tuesday, after more than 136,000 people got tested.

The tally is an increase from Monday’s 2501 cases.

Two more virus-related deaths were also confirmed.
