Three men who breached COVID checkpoint at Tennant Creek fined

Three men who dodged a COVID-19 border checkpoint at Tennant Creek and proceeded to drive to Alice Springs have been slapped with a $5,056 penalty each, NT Police said.

Authorities said around 6:20am on Saturday, the men aged 36, 32 and 25, did not comply with the border checkpoint.
