Coronavirus updates Queensland’s COVID-19 cases climb again, to 765

Queensland has recorded 765 new cases of COVID-19 on Christmas Day from more than 33,000 tests.

Health Minister Yvette D’Ath said the state had been “preparing for a year” for the cases, adding hospitalisations remain low.
