Victoria has recorded 2108 new COVID-19 cases, as the state celebrates Christmas amid the nation’s toughest rules on masks.
Another six people have died with the virus in the state, and there are 261 people in hospital, including 71 in ICU.
A total of 42 people are on ventilators.
