Queensland records 714 new cases, 50 cases less than Christmas Day

Queensland has 714 new COVID-19 cases on Boxing Day, a drop of more than 50 cases compared with the figures announced on Christmas Day.

However, Chief Health Officer John Gerrard said Sunday’s case decrease would not last, and he expected cases to climb once again in coming days.
