Child under two dies with COVID-19 in South Australia as state records 1374 new cases

A COVID-19 positive child under two years old has died in South Australia.

Premier Steven Marshall announced the “very sad news” of the child’s death on Thursday, also reporting 1374 new cases in the state.

He said an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the child’s death.
