Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese says if he wins the next election he will prioritise a high-speed rail between Newcastle and Sydney’s CBD.
The proposed rail line from Sydney’s CBD to Newcastle would cut commute time by 2 hours and would be the first stage of an extended line.
