Queensland Chief Health Officer Dr John Gerrard says a man in his late 30s with “probable” COVID-19 died suddenly in his Gold Coast home last night.
This comes as the state recorded 4,249 new COVID cases.
Dr Gerrard said the case would be referred to the coroner.
