Parts of Canberra smashed by large hailstones

Northern parts of Canberra have been hit hard by large hailstones during thunderstorms this afternoon, 3 January.

There were reports of trees falling on homes and roads, fallen powerlines, localised flooding, and water damage across Canberra.
