QLD COVID case update: Man’s sudden death investigated as state records 4249 new infections

A Queensland man in his late 30s has died at home overnight with probable COVID-19.

On Monday, Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk confirmed the state had recorded another 4249 infections, up from 3587 on Sunday, warning infections weren’t expected to peak until the end of January or early February.
