PM: Free rapid antigen tests ‘no silver bullet’

Prime Minister Scott Morrison says “making everything free is not a silver bullet”, amid calls for rapid antigen tests to be free for all Australians. It comes as the Australian Council of Social Service pleads with the federal government to consider the plight of the most vulnerable and prioritise the delivery of testing kits to them. “There are no silver bullets here,” the Prime Minister said ahead of today’s National Cabinet meeting. “You’ve just got to work the problem, work it together and push through, and that’s what we’ll be doing today at National Cabinet.”
