Non-urgent elective surgeries will be suspended statewide until March as Queensland records 11,174 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday.

There are 17 people in intensive care, three on ventilators and 349 other COVID-19 patients in hospital, while 24,000 are being cared for at home.
