Victoria COVID cases Thursday almost 40,000 and 25 more deaths

Victoria has recorded nearly fifty COVID-related deaths in two days as cases remain in the tens of thousands.

There were 37,169 new positive test results on Thursday, with 16,843 of those coming from rapid antigen tests (RATs) and 20,326 from PCR tests.
