Ashling Murphy vigil: Murdered school teacher’s father breaks down during poignant musical tribute

Emotional scenes swept through vigils across the UK for a young Irish school teacher who was beaten to death while out for a jog along a canal pathway.

Ashling Murphy was killed on the Grand Canal Walk in Tullamore, Central Ireland, at about 4pm on Wednesday, police said.
