Hawke ‘did everything he was supposed to’ with Djokovic

Macedone Legal’s Sam Macedone says Immigration Minister Alex Hawke has done everything he was supposed to.

This comes after Novak Djokovic’s visa fight will return to court as his legal team appeals with the government’s decision to deny him entry for a second time.

“He (Hawke) has to keep in mind what’s best for the public interest, what’s best for Australia," Mr Macedone told Sky News Australia.

“And I think he’s simply given himself enough time to consider all aspects of the matter."
