Australia ‘a matter of days’ from Omicron peak

Epidemiologist Professor Tony Blakely says parts of Australia are a “matter of days” from reaching the peak of the Omicron wave.

“This thing is moving through very quickly, which is the experience we’re seeing in other places,” Mr Blakely said.
