NSW records over 30 thousand COVID cases as hospitalisations drop for the first time in weeks

New South Wales has recorded 30,825 new COVID-19 infections and a further 25 deaths as the state’s hospitalisations have dropped for the first time in five weeks.

NSW hospitals are now caring for 2781 COVID-19 patients, down from 2863 on Wednesday.
