Homemade bomb blows in Perth suburban Zambrero restaurant

A man is assisting Perth police with inquiries after an improvised bomb blew at popular chain restaurant Zambrero during its lunch rush.

Officers were called to the franchise on the Newcastle Street cafe strip in the inner-city suburb of Leederville at 1.30pm Thursday.
