Market Close 21 Jan 22: ASX 200 closes at ~7.5-month low

The Australian sharemarket slumped by 2.3% on Friday, marking the second worst decline of the month, resulting in the most substantial weekly pullback in around three months, while the ASX 200 ended at a ~7.5-month closing low.
