Victoria COVID hospitalisations and cases on Friday decrease as booster vaccine blitz begins

Victoria has recorded its lowest COVID-19 case day in weeks as millions more rapid antigen tests are ordered and a vaccination blitz kicks off.

There were 18,167 new positive test results on Friday, with 8144 of those coming from rapid antigen tests (RATs) and 10023 from PCR tests.
