COVID-19 cases grow as 24 new local infections recorded

There are fears the state’s Omicron outbreak is escalating as cases tripled from seven local infections yesterday, to 24 today.

The cases are linked to known infections and remain in isolation.

“The good news is they are linked to existing cases,” WA Health Minister Amber-Jade Sanderson said.
