Fears for COVID outbreak as WA records high new daily cases

Western Australia has reported 24 new daily cases of COVID-19, bringing the state’s total active case figure to 90.

The increased number of new cases comes just days after Premier Mark McGowan announced the state would not relax it’s strict border restrictions, citing the threat of Omicron.
