McGowan’s border backflip is “all politics,” according to Sky News host Paul Murray.

“He wanted to open it in February because he thought the election was going to be in March,” Mr Murray said.

“Therefore, zero cases would become a few and - fingers crossed if you’re a Labor supporter – lots of cases.

“This is garbage.”
