‘No need to hoard’ rapid tests: Stuart Robert

Acting Education Minister Stuart Robert says there is “no need to hoard” rapid antigen tests with tens of millions of kits due to arrive in early February. It comes as rapid antigen tests are set to play a major role in the return to school under plans unveiled by the Victorian and New South Wales governments. Mr Robert told Sky News Australia the federal government is also procuring 89 million tests for aged care on top of the kits being ordered by the states and territories and the medical community. “So you’re talking north of 100 million tests,” he said.
