Grace Tame ‘wanted to show the world she doesn’t like Scott Morrison’

Scott Morrison “will be glad” not to see Australian of the Year Grace Tame again, according to Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell.

On her last day as Australian of the Year, Grace Tame sparked criticism when she and her partner Max Heerey refused to smile in photographs with Scott and Jenny Morrison before a morning tea at The Lodge.

“It looked kind of deliberate, in a sense, she wanted to show the world she doesn’t like Scott Morrison,” Mr Clennell said.

“It’s another moment for him that doesn’t look great.”
