Energy Minister Angus Taylor says it is a “really humiliating backdown” for Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese after Labor announced it would support construction of a gas-fired power station in the NSW Hunter Valley.  

“I welcome the fact that they’re supporting an important part of our decision after having bagged it for months and months on end,” Mr Taylor told Sky News Australia.  

“It’s a really humiliating backdown for him and for each way Albo, who seems to be making it up as he goes along.”
