Canberra journalists playing a ‘stupid game’: Bolt

Sky News host Andrew Bolt says the press gallery seem “excited” by the chance to join in an “Australian pile-on”.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison addressed the National Press Club on Tuesday, where he was asked about an alleged text exchange between former premier Gladys Berejiklian and a federal cabinet minister, who reportedly referred to him as a “psycho”.

“What does it matter to voters' lives if Morrison really is called a psycho or a bastard by one of his ministers,” Mr Bolt said.

“What does it matter to voters if he even is one, as long as he's their bastard delivering for them.

“In the bubble stuff, who's being mean to who in the Canberra zoo, and it's nothing to do with making the lives of Australians one tiny bit better.”
