Media directed ‘gutter level politics’ at Scott Morrison

Sky News host Chris Kenny says the media have gotten “lazy,” as evidenced by the performance of journalists at Scott Morrison’s National Press Club address. “The media focus on text messages, the price of bread and the rest of it,” Mr Kenny said. “They do it because they’re lazy; this is just easy stuff; they don’t have to think too hard about it. “They reckon it’s titillating for their audiences … I reckon it’s insulting for their audiences.”
