Queensland COVID update: Child among 16 deaths recorded as new cases continue to climb

A child aged under 10 is among 16 new COVID-related deaths reported in Queensland.

The child had a very serious and rare underlying medical condition, the state’s Chief Health Officer John Gerrard told reporters on Wednesday.
