Another 72 people have died from COVID-19 across NSW and Victoria

Thirty-eight people have died from COVID-19 in NSW, while Victoria has reported 34 deaths in the latest reporting period.

NSW marked a fall in hospitalisations for the third consecutive day.

There are currently 2,578 patients with COVID-19 in hospital, down from 2,663 on Sunday.
