Market Close 3 Feb 22: Aussie market snaps short two-day winning streak

The Australian sharemarket fell by 0.14%, ending a short-lived two-day winning streak. Tech stocks fell most, sliding by 6%. Major miners BHP, Rio Tinto and Fortescue helped minimise the ASX 200’s falls. Westpac rose on its quarterly update.
