Labor offers conditional support to Morrison government’s religious discrimination bill

The Morrison government is one step closer to passing its religious discrimination bill after Labor offered conditional support.  

Two separate inquiries into the proposed legislation reported back on Friday both called for the bill to be passed, with minor technical amendments.  

One report also calls on the government to consider provisions overriding laws restricting faith-based hiring.
