Albanese wants election to be a ‘referendum on the government’

Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese is playing an almost “invisible game” at present, according to Employment Minister Stuart Robert.

Mr Robert said the Labor leader is “wanting the election to be a referendum on the government”.

“An election is a choice between two competing views, two competing teams and two competing leaders - Mr Albanese versus Mr Morrison,” Mr Robert said.
