Austria vaccine mandate comes into effect, marking strictest mandate in Europe

Coronavirus vaccinations are now mandatory for the general adult population in Austria, as per a new law that has taken effect.

President Alexander Van der Bellen had signed the Federal Law On The Obligation To Vaccinate Against COVID-19 after its approval by parliament.
